Biometric devices can prevent "buddy punching", where one employee punches in or out for another employee. WorldPunchClock supports two different fingerprint scanners.
Use the SecuGen® Hamster™ III Plus with our WorldPunchClock module when one or more biometric fingerprint time clock stations will be used, and multiple employees will punch in from each time clock station. Biometry is the most accurate way to collect employee time and attendance information. Instead of badges or passwords that can be lost, forgotten or shared, the Biometric WorldPunchClock verifies an employee's identity based on their fingerprint. With Biometric WorldPunchClock, you pay your employees for the exact time they work. No more unreadable paper time sheets, no more time calculations by hand, and you will avoid "Buddy Punching". Your employees simply put one of their fingers in the scanner. The system automatically recognizes who is entering or leaving the company and keeps an exact record of the time. You can later print this information or export it to, Microsoft Excel or Microsoft Word and have accurate information in just seconds! |

| Magnetic Employee Badge support | |
| You can use WorldPunchClock with magnetic card readers input. Assign magnetic cards with unique identification numbers to each employee and use a magnetic card reader to punch in/out. Can be used as a backup input method when inoperative material occurs. When WorldPunchClock is in biometric punch clock, the keyboard can not be used as a punch-in device. |

| You can use WorldPunchClock with simple keyboard input. Assign unique identification numbers to each employee and use the keyboard to punch in/out. Employee Punch-IDs are easily changed to prevent 'buddy punch' problems. Can be used as a backup input method when inoperative material occurs. |
